Web Page Design (Level 1):

Learn how to use Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) to create pages on the World Wide Web. Topics include the use of tags and the embedding of links to other WWW sites and to multimedia objects such as sound and video, the use of HTML editors and exporting to HTML format.

Learn to create tables, control text flow around graphics, use an image as a background, create “clickable” image maps and basic forms.

Topics include cascading style sheets, advanced formatting of HTML tags, modifying tiled backgrounds and creating non-underlined hyperlinks in several colours within the same file.

Macromedia Dreamweaver (Level 1):

Students are introduced to the Dreamweaver interface. Students use Dreamweaver to write HTML, work with Dynamic HTML (DHTML), format text and create links. Images, tables, frames, forms and site management issues are also covered.

Macromedia Dreamweaver (Level 2):

Take your site a step forward with Dreamweaver as you learn to automate your work by creating macro-commands and dynamically update libraries and Cascading Style Sheets. Add interactivity to your pages with DHTML and use advanced site management options, design notes and design templates.
